Built in Vos in KV 715. Rose erratically through the ranks of the Air Wing, Operations Command and the Core Group, frequently demoted and more often posted sideways than upwards. Considered a very unpleasant officer to serve and an even worse officer to be served by. Occasionally reputed to have gained promotion by irritating his commanders to death. Sourflay has achieved every promotion in his career by murdering his commander. Promoted to High Marshal in KV 735.713, demoted to Air Marshal KV 735.904, promoted back to High Marshal in KV 736.023. Became Lord Marshal in KV 736.661.

     Sourflay has a very public and vicious rivalry with Air Commander Starscream, who considers him too unstable to be a real threat to his life. Starscream has publicly humiliated Sourflay many times, giving him the nickname 'Sourflake'. Sourflay has had a monumental stele erected in the forecourt of his domicile, on which are inscribed all the humiliations Starscream has caused him and how he intends to get revenge for them. It is rumoured that Sourflay's greatest fear is that someone else will kill Starscream before he can; it is well known that he is running out of room on his stele. It is rumoured that Megatron has placed a command operative in Sourflay's unit for the express purpose of ensuring he never becomes Air Commander, simply because he finds Sourflay to be utterly unbearable.

     His current body-shell is a core pattern Seeker with a pale green and pale yellow colour pattern. He is armed with two acid-pellet rifles, two air-to-ground smart missiles and the ability to emit acidic gasses from his exhaust nozzles or chest-vents. These gasses cause an opponent's armour to flake off; Sourflay must take care in using this or his own armour is affected.
