[trans. "City Crowning Voe"]:
Cybertronian city-state founded as a factory-city for the creation of Cybertronians with military-function jet-based altmodes. During the Golden Age, the city looked set to follow the same path of decay and diminishment as other military-based manufacturing cities; however, under the enterprising Emirate Verdigris Voxis, the city won a contract from the Council of Autobot Elders to mass-produce a standardized body-shell to be given life as Decepticons. This was the beginning of the design line that became known as the Seekers. Late in the Golden Age, under the guidance of Emirate Starscream Voxis, the city-state rose to prominence as one of the most powerful states under Iacon, and became a haven for several hundred thousand Liegeless from the northern hemisphere. The city was levelled during the Vos-Tarn Limited Exchange; the entire state was integrated into the state of Polyhex, and the city rebuilt.
Metronoma: Voxis ["dark grey city of the governor"]
City-state; Legascion state. The state derives its name from its position atop the Ugolen Voe ["dark mountains seen through mist"]. The state is a centre for the production of aeroplanes and other atmospheric craft, and supplied the majority of citizens of the other Legascion states. The state is Primordialist and a cult centre for the Forged of Prima. Vos' citizens are referred to as Vosians or Vo'oes; they value speed of thought and movement, joy in flight and self-determination. Subcities include Vertehelehon ["on a twisted peak"], Ugoltyr ["purple mountain"], Btarkahex ["walled city on the fair hill] and Bnarbetan ["red hills"].
Vos remains one of the Decepticon stronghold-fortresses and the primary manufactory for solid-state aircraft, spacecraft and satellites, and for Decepticons with aircraft, spacecraft and orbital-based altmodes. The city generated most of its power using massive wind-turbines; however, since Cybertron was blown out of orbit, it has been dependant on Tarn for the majority of its power. Almost one-third of the Decepticon army was created in Vos. The city derives its name from the Voe [trans. "grey/dark obscured by mist"] Mountains on which it is founded.
The metronoma-city of Vos is sited on one of the highest points on the Voe Mountains, the high ridge on the southernmost edge of Vos-state. The city is roughly oval in shape and lies across the ridge like a saddle. It is the fourth largest city on Cybertron and largest Decepticon city after the capital, Helex. It has been reworked and rebuilt several times during the War, changing from a relatively small manufactory-city into one of the Decepticon empire's flagship city-fortresses. The slopes of the Voe have been crafted into sheer, unclimbable cliffs; the city proper lies within in the fifty-mile-high Trestephon ring-wall. The city has no roadways, no walkways, no skyways and no entrances near ground level, being comprised entirely of high towers. Designed for Seekers by Seekers, it is almost impossible to enter or move around Vos without mastery of the power of flight. The city is build in eight irregular rings or terraces; the five outer rings are the bulk of the city. The three inner rings are closed to all but those personally cleared for access by Air Commander Starscream or the Inner Circle Marshals. The innermost core, within the first circle, is the personal residence of the Air Commander: a silver multitower seventy-three kilometres high.
Subcities of Vos include:
- Verteheleon ["Twisted Peak"] - this small city is situated on the highest point on the Voe. The structure of the city is a spiral, the slow expansion of which over time has caused twisted the mountain peak into a jagged cone.
- Ugotyragox ["Purple Mountain Fortress"] - situated on the south-westernmost point on the Voe, this huge fortress-city is a defence-bastion for the western borders of Polyhex.
- Btarkahex ["Walled City on Fair Hills"] - sited on the northern slopes of the Voe, this is the largest population centre for Seekers outside of Vos itself.
- Btnaphnan ["Red Hill"] - Site of the primary energy generators for Vos. The entire city is a wind generator, comprised of seventeen levels of buildings which rotate around the city's central tower. The city was mostly abandoned after Cybertron was shaken out of orbit.
- Ugolabrum ["White Tower on the Mountains"] - anti-air defense centre.
- Krarugholo ["Golden Dawn Tower"] - major research centre.
- Uglopagral ["Leaping Frost Mountain"] - sited on a large spur on the southern side of the Voe, this city is the primary launching-point for assault groups moving into the equatorial zone.
